“ Okay. We were those American tourists that wanted to eat before 8. So early I know. Yet we wanted to see the Corpus Christi celebration in the streets outside that is on June 22 in the night. So we ate early and loved it. Charcuterie of meat and cheese. Amazing wine. Also other local drinks. Beef and mashed potatoes and oxtail tacos. All so good and our waiter was a joy. ”

“ This is a great spot for lunch in Setenil. Most tourists seem to stop for lunch the moment they get to the centre but walk just 2 minutes further and you'll get to this hidden gem. Down the stairs from the shop and through the cave and you emerge onto a beautiful terrace. Had an excellent lunch overlooking the stream and the geese. Great menu of unusual dishes alongside standard tapas. ”
“ Carpaccio was very good and they have the best bread on the area! Cold cuts specially Jamon Bellota was excellent, carrillera de ternera was great as well but not the octopus. Place is calm and looking over the river, best place to rest and take a cold beer! ”
“ Phenomenal spot! Such a beautiful ambiance and very romantic on a Saturday night. The terrace is one of the best in town—right by the river in the heart of the center. Super dog-friendly and the staff were all incredibly warm and welcoming. We only tried the vegetarian pizza and the goat cheesecake, but both were exceptional. Honestly, that cheesecake might be the best I’ve ever had. The dishes we saw coming out for other guests looked amazing too. What a great find. Thanks so much! ”
“ Group of 10, called 30 mins ahead. Staff was super friendly, funny, and service was good. We ordered a wide variety of food and everything was fresh, delicious, and portions were perfect. The fresh bread made in house and the house olive oil was perfection! I wish we could buy the bread to take with. Outside seating with view of the narrow gulch. Server also gave us a mini history of the restaurant and explained local history to us. Overall, great food and great service in a unique spot! Worth the hike! ”

“ Incredible once you find it. Off the street you go through the deli and down the steps by the front door to the restaurant. It feels like a good secret and wow what a secret! Beautiful overhang of the river/stream under the rock. So attentive and the food...just incredible. A must! We wanted to go back on night 2 but sadly they were closed ”
